Proxy Configuration

Your device must be configured to use Proxie as the proxy server before Proxie can see its traffic.

By default Proxie listens on 0.0.0.0:4321, which means you can connect to Proxie from the local Mac using localhost:4321 or connect from another device under the same network using your_mac_ip:4321

The IP addresses of your Mac and the port Proxie is listening on is displayed in the center of the toolbar.

iOS

  1. Go to Settings -> Wi-Fi.
  2. Tap the blue icon located on the right side of the connected Wi-Fi.
  3. Scroll down to the HTTP Proxy section.
  4. Tap Manual, and enter your Mac's IP address and Proxie's listening port.

iOS Simulator

iOS Simulators follow macOS' proxy settings.

macOS

  1. Go to System Preferences -> Network.
  2. Click the “Advanced...” button.
  3. Go to the ”Proxies” tab.
  4. Select and check and Web Proxy (HTTP).
  5. Enter your Mac's IP address (or localhost) and Proxie's listening port on the right.
  6. Do the same thing with Secure Web Proxy (HTTPS) if you want to decrypt HTTPS traffic.
  7. Click “OK”.
  8. Click “Apply”.

Android

  1. Go to Settings -> Wi-Fi.
  2. Long tap your the connected Wi-Fi.
  3. Tap “Show advanced options”.
  4. Select “Manual” under “Proxy settings”, and enter your Mac's IP address and Proxie's listening port.
  5. Tap “Save”.

Windows

  1. Go to Control Panel -> Internet Options.
  2. Click the “LAN settings” button in the “Connections” tab.
  3. Check “Use a proxy server for your LAN.......”
  4. Enter your Mac's IP address and Proxie's listening port.
